Outdoor fire!

Isn't there a tank end manufacturer in Milwaukee?? Wondering if they had spun up a out of spec stainless end just waiting for you.

 

Be sure to throw in some melted beer cans for good measure!

 

Hmm. That's not really in my wheelhouse, but I'll look. The scrap alone is probably out of the ballpark for SS. I think a heavy gauge carbon steel will last a decades.

 

Cans dissappear before your eyes and burn up

 

We burned 2 brush piles at our son's place Saturday, I'll have to get beginning pictures from him. Stirred them up late Sunday evening. This pile caught back up great, so we moved some of the stumps from the other pile over. That big piece on the front came from the big oak stem we cut in "Git'ter done down in Dixie" thread
Our son got a few splits and we roasted a few hot dogs.

 

Lit a fire last evening to burn some yard waste.

Nothing special.

Worked outside all day cleaning up and trimming limbs and pulling thistles. Burnt 5 wheelbarrows full so I thought since we had the fire going......

I mowed the lawn, worked in the boat to get it ready for hopefully going out Monday.

Had another fire tonight. I just didn't take a picture. We didn't stay out late like we typically do when we have outdoor fires, with tomorrow being a work day.

 

With all the rain recently we have had much chance for a fire. Yesterday evening was perfect.

 

Fire last evening. No walleye were caught; dang!


Mosquitos showed up uninvited.

 

We've had very few mosquitoes so far even as wet as it is. I assume because it's been so cold?

 

Probably
