I took the cover off our pool about 2 weeks ago, figuring if it was going to rain all the time it might as well be bringing up the water level. It might be warm enough to use it by July.

Had some crazy storms here last night. We were unscathed. Didn't even really get much hail at all, just a couple of minutes of tiny stuff. It rained a lot, but nothing like north and south of here. Not like elsewhere around us that got tornados and massive hail. We never even lost power or had any damage it appears. I have a friend that lives just outside of Mayville. They got hit hard there, but when our friends got lucky and only had some camper and vehicle damage.

Hoping the helps all the other muscles and bones compensating for me sitting on left or right but not sitting. bogieb , I've not been able to lean back to use my chair back and chuckled when I thought of you in that little fabric task chair :)

Looks like the weather might get spicy tonight...we are under a tornado watch and some stuff is firing up out west. Hopefully it will wash out the baseball game this evening before it starts instead of driving all the way there just to turn around and drive home.

Going to the woods in the morning for some tractor and chainsaw therapy, wedding tomorrow afternoon, then taking the tractor over to the church to till up a new garden for the pastor.

I'll figure it out..... eventually. Guaranteed, ain't a soul wanna be around me right now. I almost have all the bs turned off. Every app I go into wants to greet me like I've never used it. So all kinds of pop ups, over and over and over and over and over and over.....

Yup, we got some of that here, twice!
Wind and rain like crazy at 11pm, then again at 3am, and then power off from 4-5am, which rarely happens here.
We didn't lose any whole trees here (many did) but did take a fair amount of damage.
Spent the last 3 hrs cutting up the bigger stuff, and then it's gonna take longer than that to clean up all the small stuff!
I haven't even had the chance to watch local news to see what all happened around here yet, but I see all the tree service guys are out today!
I seen where the wind blew the metal roofing off one of my stacks, and then started blowing splits right out of the rack!

Went to a golf outing today. No prizes but all proceeds go to a local Veterans association. 20250517_094904.jpg

Had a few limbs down here and power was out for 11 hours. Came back on 2 minutes after I fired up the generator.

He brought me the coccyx pillow last night, it's helps a little bit. Little bit. Idk, it's supposed to be for up to 300lbs, I'm under 1/3 of that and it flattens out under me. I wonder it it's too big if it its good for 300lbs?
