Too many ankle biter projects I need to do to count. Baseball season is consuming my evenings so the mornings are about all I have to get anything done. Got the oil changed on the 4 wheeler this morning. It wasn't much, but it was something.

I'm going to try to get the rest of the garden planted by the end of the week while the weather is dry.

Darn! Took a tumble Sunday. Lifted the heater out of the chick coop door and was steadying it to stand upright in the dirt, a gust came through and I went down with the heater. I should have just let it fall but it was instinct to grab it harder. Chest hit 2x6 from collapsed gazebo. Gathered myself, went inside and thought everything was fine except the bruise on my sternum. Next morning tailbone was sore, day 3 and it's more sore. Why is it more painful than less? (hurts when I go to and from sitting). Stupid bony butt.

It look like an orange sponge except for a thin layer under the bark. Yuk! I got my revenge, it's sitting in my last rick now.

My wife and son are doing most of the planting. I get to do the irrigation. I have a date every evening with my string trimmer.

This is terrible. Not sure why your tailbone got so sore but I hope that goes away fast. It is not surprising it hurts most when trying to sit or get up. I hope that clears up fast.

I hate that falling stuff. Never seem to land right. Something always gets bruised. I am so heavy that I get a really big slam bam.

Thanks Larry. I don't weigh a lot but slam down too. I hate falling, no control.
Dennis, I took the heater out of door by doggies shoulder, tried to it set it down to my right, stumbled as I went down with the heater, chest bounce off that darned board sticking out and ended up on my rear in the direction of my truck.

I have a feeling it was the 6pm peak gust (solid blue line), but might have been the earlier gust peak. Doesn't really matter I guess, It was somewhere that late afternoon/early evening.

I have some bad news. An area north of my work has been ravaged by a forest fire. seems to be under control now, but evaluations are still in effect and at least roughly 20something buildings have been damaged. I hope the rain we're getting tonight helps finish it off.
