I’ve been focusing my attention and pictures in the log pile so I figured it was time to show the progress on a split pile. This is all oak and is about 120’ long. 10’-15’ more will finish it off.

Nice looking windrow as always Joe.

Rumor has it the International space station uses your wood piles as a navigational aid?

    Just a rumor!

Haven't cut at all this week but I hope to hit it starting today. Calling for some rain over the weekend so who knows how much I will get cut but 40-50 logs would be a good goal.

We got the locust I cut last week split up. Pile is 25 feet long about 8 feet wide and peaks at about 3 feet high. It will all get stacked in ibc totes and will know how much there is exactly once that’s done.

I put in about 2.5 hours this morning before the rain came and just reached the low end of my weekend goal of 40-50 logs cut. At least I can now see a significant difference in the size of the log pile.

Yes, and the split piles are getting bigger. Just what I like to see this time of year.

Got 4 bins of the locust stacked today and it’s about half of what was there so I’m anticipating 4 more.
