I was en route to my BL location with the hydro to split when this brought me to a screeching halt. Log deck staged next to the road to be picked up soon. I know the tree service so got a call in right away. They don't keep the logs. Red maple, elm and red oak with a nice ash log too. If I had a saw I would've pulled a WeldrDave and processed right there in the street! Left a message and if I don't hear from them today a call will be made tomorrow morning. IIRC I have called this company in the past. Not crazy about the elm, but loving the Goldilocks sized logs. Wish me luck.
LOL!!! I normally don't have one with me. Even if I did there was no answer and not having the okay I wouldn't have touched it.
Called the tree service and they said have at it as its being picked up tomorrow. Stopped by early this afternoon and the lady was home. She said have at it too. She was surprised how much attention roadside wood attracted. I guess another hoarder had inquired with the tree service and stopped by a couple minutes after I got there. Him and I chatted with our plans and finally he goes to me take it all then leaves. I was more than fair saying we could split it. It was raining a bit too heavy for me and i had an appointment so couldnt make it back there til later provided the rain let up. Well it rained heavier and i wasnt cutting wood in it. Still coming down pretty good. Ill have to try early in the morning.
Well score in the making. Hoping i can cut a load tomorrow before they take it away. Trying to convince myself to cut in the rain.
