Good Morning, Brothers & Sisters Thread

Morning all. Another sunny day in Paradise here. Getting rather warm for this time of year. Drove home last night from prayer meeting with the moon roof open.

Busy couple of days as I am working at a school. It is fun to get back into it but I don't know if I could do it fulltime again. So much going on at home.

Did I mention that I finished the shirt I was working on? I have material to make another one but it will be a week before I have time to start on it.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. 61°\86° clear. We put a butt on the smoker last night, ribs and chicken will go on today.
Having friends over for supper tonight. Planning to work around the woodyard today. We got more done at our son's home yesterday, didn't finish.
Got the F250 to the shop, maybe that won't take too long.
When it got to hot to work on the deck, we cut a big 3 stem oak stump down for him.

Woke up to thunder and downpours. 51⁰/80⁰ clearing.

Fun day yesterday watching the tree service do their thing. Truckaa stopped by and took it in.

I need to go get. strawberries. The rhubarb has some ready to harvest. I like to cut both up and cook in a saucepan. As liquid is released, I'll sprinkle in some tapioca to thicken it, A little bit of honey towards the end. Let it cool and spoon over a scoop of ice cream or have it just in a cup. I like it on the tart side.

So, I'll run a few errands and don't plan to cut today.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. 64°\87° clear. Planning to finish splitting a few oak rounds this morning, then moving splitter to a different spot in the yard.
Need to go check out a couple pines our neighbor wants dropped. Maybe a trip to town before lunch. Nap later, as I start 7PM-7AM shift tonight.
The butt turned out great...put it on Wed night...
Finished up a tote and filled this one while ribs were cooking

Our friends that came over last night brought me an early gift. She said if they waited, I might see it and buy it myself....

Summery day ahead. Dewpt 53⁰ 58⁰/82⁰ muggy feel in the air. showers possible with increasing humidity. Ceiling fan season is here!

I did get some strawberries yesterday. Yummy cooked with rhubarb I cut from my plants. I noticed rhubarb at the store for $5.99/lb.

I'm hoping to continue to cut on the felled ash tree. It won't take long to be sweat soaked. We'll see. I do want to get it off the lawn.

The "Derby" is today. Zero interest here..

Good morning. It is 37f, but clear this morning. Heading out soon to do some work on the cabin, as well as a spring check-in on another property we have purchased in the area (land and small cabin).

 

Chilly in the cabin.
Still snow in the woods but the driveways are clear.
