Maybe I should get the feeder out this weekend if you have them down in the southeast part of the state:handshake::thumbs::thumbs:

Must be their first child. Our first got all the safety stuff. Second boy hardly at all. The third boy, "can you move the arm, good, it's fine."

We had five show up last winter and they stayed until three weeks ago. Must have headed North. We usually have a few all summer, hope they show up soon.

We saw our first Oriole this morning. I put the feeder out with the grape jelly.

Had a real bad storm roll through Pittsburgh yesterday afternoon. Ended up at a neighbor's house with a few saws. All the neighbors came and helped clear the driveway for these people. Was great to see everyone work together. 20250429_190656.jpg 20250429_180703.jpg

Good on you for helping. I'm betting you did all the cutting and hope enough neighbors came to clean up.

My Social Securuity check for April was $200 less than normal. Guess I better get into the SSA to figure it out. I'm guessing Medicare/Medicare D/Advantage Card is involved...

Prior to turning 65 they had asked me if I wanted Medicare part B. I said no. The first check after my 65th they deducted for part B.
I called and in a not very nice voice and attitude asked WTF? The lady apologized, but if I remember correctly, it was going to take them 2 months to replace the money.

We'll have to see. I vaguely remember being told when I started, that something was automatically included and I'd have to opt out. United Health cancelled the Advantage plan I was on and replaced it with a new one, that's the only change. But that's only $40, not 200.
