I wouldn't bet against it but that would depend on who's filing it. I tried a loop of that stuff out when I square filed it for someone.

Nice video comparison MM. I don't like my 024S but if it had some of this 63PS chain that may change my mind.

I found this video on the 63PS chain.

First time that I have seen that vid but it's a great one!

I know a guy who could hook you up with some of this chain. ;)

I have a bit more work to do on this topic yet, I'd like to do some myth busting in this area for sure. My 261 was stock for this vid and now it's ported, so a rematch is in order to see how the extra power affects things. I also have a .325 square grind chain that's pretty speedy on this saw, along with a very hot loop of 63PS that has been converted to square filed.

Can't wait to get an appropriate log to re-test on.

I have 2 loops of full comp 3/8" that would be faster than the square PS you have I believe... On your 261 anyway...
    But I could be wrong...

Wonder how .325 Skip would fit in here? Ported 346xp? Anybody try it?

I have too many .325 & 3/8 bars to even think about trying LP!

Yes, both mine... Figured that. Someone told me to try .325 skip a while back, but I don't remember the details.
