    Still have a while before even the early spring bulbs put out any color, so I'm living vicariously thru the picture posts of people down south!

    At times it's still more winter here than spring, snow predicted for tonight. It's still snowing every day or, every other day. Sometimes only for 30 minutes of snow then sun, then snow flurries. The Mountains set the rules, they control what's happening.

    On a positive gardening post, Home Depot has had five bags of Scotts bark mulch for ten bucks we bought 50 bags and also on sale was miracle grow . We bought several backs of that and five bags of miracle grow garden soil for five for 10 dollars. I will be going to the a local farm in Vermont to get two trips of a ton of composted cow manure for the veggies. We live in area where April is the month they manure the fields. Trailer trucks spreading it on the many miles of corn along the river. Let's say , quite aromatic. But this is where food is made.
