I've had my 180 for a few years and really like the light weight. So much so, that I've been hounding my dad to get himself a lighter saw. He's too cheap to buy one, so I went shopping and picked this up for him. The specs on this one looked even better than my 180, so it's what I got.
Freshly rebuilt. I had to get a picture before it got dirty all over again It’s running pretty strong with the base gasket delete.
They are sweet looking saws. If I find the right one locally I might have to get one. Something 40-45cc thats not made by poulan.
They made a 40 and a 45. I like the simplicity of them. I have a 50 that I really like. They still had rubber AV mounts then. I like the 3 series saws with the spring AV too. But those older ones are just classics to me.
I think its why I like that dolmar made Makita I have. Its very similar in design to the older Husqvarnas.
This is my latest acquisition. $26 at my local online auction. Great compression. Looks to be a very low usage saw. Heavy. More to come in my echo saw thread.
