What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

I would be at a loss if I had to go without our fresh seafood. We try to have it twice weekly. Living near the ocean has many benefits. I love to park near the shore and listen to the crashing tide.

I cuss em both most mornings. Can't make it out the driveway without the seat belt dinger going off multiple times. No sense in putting it on till i stop and close the gate at the end of the driveway.

I hope you catch a break soon! I checked the weather reports and they are saying some places got up to 20" of rain out of this storm. That's insane. a quarter that amount can cause a lot of damage. Stay safe lukem!

 

Jokes aside, Dildo is a much nicer place.

 

Last night I dealt with the stupidest truck driver I ever had. His poor judgement caused us to needlessly slug several pallets of heavy product by hand instead of by pallet jack. I was absolutely livid and was getting ready to write up a scathing complaint to the sales rep, but then I woke up

I've had weirder dreams, but that was a nightmare.

 

Caffeine! Almost time to go take care of Mom this morning. Looks like clouds all day as usual this time of year. But at least it’s not cold.

 

Must have been a few town planners with a twisted and warped sense of humor.

Not so sure about the 51st state thing any longer......

 

We can be really weird up here. You wouldn't want us.

 

I'm guessing it won't be long till more streets are added and changes the view.

CBS does their best to avoid city status while simultaneously becoming more of a city all the time.

Well, I know that pictures are always welcome and appreciated but it never occurred to me while in the process:
Had killed a coyote a few months ago that was taking wife’s laying hens. Got two or three that we’re aware of.

Then lost three recently to something scaling the coop and starting to eat on them but not completely killing them (still had to put them out of their misery).

Ended up trapping and killing three raccoons in 4 nights. Have taken a few days off and at night put her3remaining hens in a small enclosure up off the ground. Will reset the trap again but damm this is getting old. Haven’t had much predator problems in the last several years so guess we were due. Spring time always the worst with the critters raising their young.

Three hens don’t hardly warrant feeding for the small quantity of eggs.

That's the problem with having chickens, seems like everybody likes chicken!

 

Productive weekend so far! Saturday my son and I finished fencing of the new larger garden. I need to install one more gate and it will be ready to use. Today I brushhogged the field, cleared the ash pile from the burn pile area and cut up a small oak that blew over across one of the trails. Next up more garden work!
