    I understand the commercial ones are more powerful and need a cord, but our kitchen layout didn't work out as we planned, electrician said outlets on islands with cooking are not code and didn't do one. Idk, I got him a household Cuisenart, basically what he had before. Today is his birthday but Monday Amazon sent a message "item was delayed". Poor guy, he treated himself to Abalone and was messaged that was delayed til Friday. I have a feeling he'll come home with crab or shrimp or another kind of seafood tonight. Nothing live or fresh here, all frozen, but still a treat for him growing up in Cali like your wife.

    Made it through the storms unscathed last night. Tornado warning and sirens sent us to the basement for a little bit.

    Beautiful day today. Lots and lots and lots of mud. Another 2"-3" of rain before the end of the weekend.

    Going to try to get the shop back under control this evening. Lots of stuff needs put away and organized. Going to have to part ways with some scrap wood....it's getting out of hand.

    My neighbor stopped over and showed a video of tornado damage less than 2 miles from my house. That's close enough for me.

    Caffeine! Looks like the sun will come out again today! o_O:) There have been many a day of clouds and snow or rain. After a while it gets tiring. And just when it starts to dry up and I think I might be able to use my new to me tractor in another week or two, it rains again. More rain on the way this weekend. :picard:April.:fart:

    I am currently out walking a paved trail along the Oswegatchie river. The geese are chasing each other like mad. The ducks are after each other, the Blue Jays, the Robbins, everybody’s out and about. It is time to start training for the half marathon in the fall. My spirits are already going up, time to slowly, gradually start increasing the distances and speed. :dex:

    I was hoping for a warm April, but it's just winter so far. Let the chickens out but the older ones don't like to walk on snow so they're still in the coop.
