It's on for the next 2 weeks as well. It's a 3 weekend long event. Next Sunday and the Sunday after it will be on.

Today was just getting 4 semi finalists. Still two episodes left. Set the DVR now.

    Gonna set it.!!

I remember the name Bosworth from like 15 years ago.

We did all those competitions in college in Conclave. I did pole felling, I sucked back then. It was fun. I didnt do the crosscut saw events or overhand chop. And there is no saws in college. When we were at mississippi state we had a Stihl rep there and one of their sporsorsed guys on the tour was there.

Also use to watch the worlds strongest man..saw one of those a few weeks ago at the farm when I was eating lunch. All new guys.

I got my throwing axe from Carson Bosworth years ago when doing this stuff. Bowsaw blade to get me started with was from Jamie Cogar.

I remember Matt Cogar when just starting out before STS. Met most of them and raced saws against most guys there. Mike Eash, Jamie Arden Cogar, Paul Cogar, Matt, Mel Lentz, Jason Lentz, Jerry Gingras, Both Slingerlands, Mark Jones, Dave Jewett etc to name a few. Kyle Friend is who owns and sold my Helsel 3120 to when I got out. ;)

Even met and raced some of the guys from abroad too. Jason Wynyard impressed me the most back in 2010.

I remember the name Lentz as well.

When I said there were "no saws" in college I should of clarified and said chain saws.

We did bow saw, cross cut ( two man buck and single), jack n jill crosscut.

Really was a big partymore than everything, when all the southern schools of forestry got together for a 3 day event. Or two day..I dont remember.

I've seen those, they're wild :saw:

So do these saws begin life as a normal stihl/husky/etc chainsaw and then they get modded or are they built from the ground up?
