My last order is stuck in UPS station since last Saturday… due to ”adverse weather” …

Yeah I had ordered some pipes and pipe tabacco from cbid and it got lost. They resent the whole order but not in time for my Christmas stocking. .

Now that we are back on line… lol.
It’s an Oklahoma Joe’s . It seems okay, just has about a 45 minute start up time to settle in, kinda of weird. It also has you drain the pellets out of the hopper after every run on shutdown. I guess it’s not smart enough to just blow out the pot and call it good. But for the GF’s Back deck it’s the right size.

A pellet smoker is definitely on my list of items to buy this summer.

Tried out this Brazil from 5 Vegas. I like the CAO Brazil better, but it was enjoyable. IMG_2476.jpeg

I had my last of the "mystery cigars" yesterday. A 5-pack was gifted to me. Story is that a guy went to DR and bought some cigars from a "popular shop" (street vendor?). He gave some away and then some of those found their way to the U.P.

5 cigars; one maduro and 4 were habano (or similar wrappers).

They were all unbanded long filler with good construction.

Maduro (yesterday's) started unpleasant then got better. then, by the 2nd half, got worse.

The first 2 habano wrapped (?) were very good; I was surprised that I enjoyed them.

    The next 2 were OK.

It would have been nice to know more about them.

    ...................rambling over.............
