Nice grab...I love having silver to mix in.
It's amazing how much more productive it's seems everyone has been this week with being light until 7:30 + (including myself!)

The warm dry weather in much of the east helps a lot with that.

Yeah. I was amazed at how the yard had dried out at my Disney cut. It was actually starting to dust.

Dang, I’m feeling like a slacker watching you get all these truck loads. Bout time to get after it I guess.

I got a late start but it's coming along, need to start splitting and stacking soon.

I'm loving the longer days, especially when I'm on 7AM-7PM shift. I like not have to use a flashlight to plug in the work lights

Tree service dumped about a cord and a half of cottonwood yesterday. Definitely not my favorite, but will take it occasionally when dropped and cut to length. With the mild winters we’ve had the last two years it will be good to have and will help stretch the premium wood in the stacks a few more years. Was going to start splitting tonight after work, but the wind came up , gusting to 50mph, at about 4:30…so it is going to sit till maybe Sunday. Need to get it processed soon though…going under the knife for hernia surgery first part of April. Getting old sucks!

Cant beat free even if its just cottonwood. With those wind gusts its probably halfway seasoned by now. Amazes me how fast that stuff dries.

Best of luck with your surgery. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks Brad will do. Had gusts up to 80mph this evening and still blowing steady at 50 at 10:30pm. Will be lucky if that cottonwood is still in the back yard by morning! LOL
