Guy i work with asked if I wanted to clean up after a logging job at his dad's hunting property. Started out there yesterday its only about 5 minutes from my house and mostly oak and cherry. Got the first load hauled out yesterday hard to say but I think there's at least 10 more by the end of it.

Lots of work in harvesting from remnant tops left behind, but some good wood to be had. Cant beat having it that close to home. Keep the pics coming.

Tons of work. They really left a mess. Property owner was cool enough to cut some and help me load this time but the rest of it I'll be workin on my own. Good score though and close to home. I have plenty of dead ash to keep me busy at home but no oaks that I want to cut in my woods so nice to bring some home.

I love working up logging tops. Lots of good wood, requires less splitting and usually is left to rot. So close to home is a great added bonus!

Anyone know what kind of oak I'm workin with? Most of this will be going in ibc totes or single row face cord stacks for the next 3 years
