woo hoo ! My kitchen clock will match network time on the ninth instead of being an hour off.
Why change it just to change it back in a couple of months.
I've been getting up with the sun so I guess I'm on agricultural time.

We keep hearing about changing the time thing. One way or another, please. I prefer standard time but would settle for either; just leave it alone then.

I also prefer standard, and also wish they would leave it one way or the other permanently.

Happy to see it, especially when I'm working 7AM-7PM shift.

I don't mind the idea of moving the clocks around but I find it to occur too late in the fall and too early in the spring. Not looking forward to loading the wood boiler or driving to work in the dark come next week.

jrider Probably because where I live; I thought they purposely did fall after Halloween so that minimized children from being outside in dark; causing less accidents with driving.

Just another case of government thinking they can control laws of nature.

I'm surprised there are no taxes on it..............yet!

George Bush pushed the timing further into fall and earlier into spring to help save energy.

I think Maine would be better served by being in the Atlantic time zone. In Dec. We go to work in the dark and come home in the dark. In the summer, it is daylight just after 5 Am and dark after 9 PM. Huge swings in the time of daylight and darkness.

I like having the extra hour of daylight after work during DST

I am always Amazed by how many are so upset by changing the clock ONE HOUR, Twice a Year.

A one hour change in my schedule hasn’t affected me that badly since I was 4 years old.

    Doug

I like it better that way actually...but pick one and stick with it would be best IMO.
But I'm not sure if I'd prefer to stay on STD time year-round, or DST...? I honestly think there'd be advantages either way...depending on the season.
