Well.. the problem tooth was root canal'd a number of years ago. Extraction is the suggested direction. I have an appointment with an oral surgeon for later this week.

Meanwhile, I am to continue with antibiotics.

 

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. 41°\67°, partly cloudy. Started my 7AM-7PM shift for the week. Not much happening right now, maintenance shop is checking some of the equipment, waiting on feed clay for another unt.
Hope to get on the woodyard this evening, got plenty of white oak to .

Morning all. Partially clear skies but rain and wind are in the forecast. Definitely above freezing here. My snowdrops are about to bloom.
Busy day today as I am involved in a quilt project for a friend. campinspecter and Shadow get left on their own today.

Good morning everyone! The snow is leaving very slowly. There is a lot of it so it's going to take a while. I have no plan for the day at this point.

Spring type of day ahead. 33⁰/53⁰ sunny. more melting!!

The tooth pain is gone. The swelling and infection remain. I returned to the hospital for antibiotics via IV yesterday, and will again today. The side effects have kicked in - loose bowel.

I'll do some grocery shopping this morning.

Our wood burning has changed to letting the stove go out midday. Then relight after sunset for overnight.

We got some white oak rounds bucked last night, hope to split some tonight after helping at church with the sound system.

MikeInMa To help prevent loose bowels, you should try Florajen. It is a probiotic that helps prevent that problem. It is an OTC item and is found in a refrigerated case and should be kept in the refrigerator at home. I believe you take one a couple hours after a dose of the antibiotic. My wife was just on a 10 day course of antibiotics and she took the Florajen and she had no problems.

The infusion folks suggested yogurt, which we already have in the fridge. I'll look for Florajen.

 

Afternoon all. It has been a busy morning. Mainly bookkeeping as month end gets closer.
Really nice spring day here. No wind and lots of sunshine.

I think I am heading down to the sewing room. I should be outside but the lawn/moss is really wet to be tramping around in it.

I'm praying my surgeon gets a good night's sleep tonight. My bladder cancer surgery is at 9:15 in the morning. I'm very nervous about it but at the same time I feel very blessed to have people praying for me.

A check-in with my dentist this morning. His main concern is with the infection. I went for 3rd of 3 IV pushes of antibiotics at the hospital yesterday. Just oral now.

My winter camping trip is the 2nd weekend in March. I'll start gathering/checking my gear today.
