I'm looking for an off the shelf product to mix with cocktail sauce that'll clear out your nasal cavities and sinuses.

What have you found that's available?

My former FIL sold some stuff made locally by the Amish that would work...but he and the store are long gone now...not sure where to get the XXX hot horseradish now...it sure nuff would clear your sinuses!
I always said that I think that stuff would cure a feller of cancer!

This one is pretty hot and will clear the sinuses. I have noticed that it can vary a little from batch to batch, when we have bought it for a garnish for beef sandwiches.

If you catch a good batch, this stuff will light some things up.

Same company but this is a little bit more bite.

If you want to breathe easier and open things up, make sure there’s actual chunks of grated root in there.

We got Yoder's brand here. Reg & hot. The hot is decent. Seems to lose some bite over time stored in the fridge.

Do yourself a big favor and just get a bottle of St. Elmo cocktail sauce. It is legit spicy and so good. You may have to order it...not sure how regional it is anymore.

I cracked it open. Mixed it 2/3 store brand cocktail sauce, 1/3 horseradish. Exactly what I was looking for!

Thanks to all for the suggestions!

Don’t forget this stuff. I understand they give it out by the handful if asked.

IMG_4706.jpeg Last weekend my son was invited to a Celtics game, Wife daughter and I killed time by going to the aquarium, noticed a hot sauce shop passing through Quincy market. Picked up some napalm! Gonna use it in cocktail sauce for shrimp today.

    Good to know!

We had shrimp the other day. I used the stuff I bought. Lit up the sinuses immediately!

Also, in a bloody marry. Whatever sticks to a spoon, gets stirred in. Quite tasty.
