55 hp Kubota at 3200 rpm for PTO blower see avatar
You still got to push in clutch wait because blower only 2’ high And then wait for 15 mph wind blowing snow around; causing white outs, to settle so you can see enough to move 10 feet and do it again

might night be fuel efficient but sure is effective

A piece of advice for the morning.

Stay away from the white powder, it takes your glow away.

Considering the time of year, I have some big fat red cardinals in my bird feeder.
No yellow finches this Winter. Nary a one.

My poor Mom, she panicked in 96' after calling my office and asking for me by my former maiden name. She panicked 8 years ago when I stopped landline and went cell phone only. And, panicked again tonight after dialing the wrong number a few times in a row. Kiddo told her the correct number lol.

Caffeine! Will be starting out with animal chores this morning. Wife and daughter going to tour a couple of colleges and visit my Wife’s Aunt. So I’ll be holding down the fort. Three day weekend off.:rootintootin:

I've got a bunch of errands to run today and my son's away basketball game tonight.

Not sure what the weekend holds yet. I got a triaxle of gravel delivered yesterday but won't be able to spread it out until after the snow is gone...it might be by tomorrow afternoon. Might start prepping the barn for concrete if I can't do gravel.

Got up in the middle of the night for a drink of water. Back in bed was strong smell of stink beetle. Retraced my steps to find it to flush it and there was nothing. In bed again, it was still strong. It was smushed on slipper. EWWWW!

79K views · 8.1K reactions | This new AI-powered tractor is going to revolutionize farming. You see those strobe looking lights underneath the chassis? Turns out, those are actually lasers blasting the weeds in real-time. This machine is called the LaserWeeder from Carbon Robotics. But the wild part about this isn’t the lasers themselves… It’s the AI targeting system that determines where they aim. Think of the Laser Weeder like a giant roomba for a farm. First, it scans the field with 42 different cameras. Then, it uses AI and computer vision to figure out exactly where the weeds are within the crops. And to do this, it’s using Nvidia GPUs…the same chips powering all the latest AI models. But then…this is where the magic happens. When it rolls back through the field a second time, it has 30 lasers with millimeter level precision that destroy only the weeds and leave the crops unharmed. And this may seem small, but this is actually a massive innovation. Because one of the biggest problems in society today is the quality of our food. And part of that is the need for pesticides, glyphosate, and all sorts of different weed killers. Well if you have the LaserWeeder...you don’t actually need pesticides at all. Because you can just eliminate the weeds from the very beginning. This is the kind of innovation that wouldn’t have been possible before AI. Because we didn’t have systems that could analyze this much visual data and learn in real-time. Well now, we do, and it’s a big deal. That would be cool - to not need nearly the pesticides theyuse now!

That's going to be quite a tangly job. I wouldn't totally rule out it becoming another abandoned shipwreck on display for anyone with such an interest.
