Yeah my son came home using that one...I'm like, say what?!

 

We use a broom handle with holes drilled at various lengths, move a 3" screw to whatever length needed, mark with saw, preferably the XS2511T, then cut with whatever saw is needed. Also have an Accu-U-Mark 16" gauge

 

I learned young that it's good to have a grasp of variations. lol

 

I cut off a broken shovel handle and marked at 12 and 16 inches for firepit wood and stove wood. I just lay it on the log and move down with it and mark with either pavement marking paint or chalk. I'm leaning more towards the chalk lately. Seems to be a bit quicker.

 

I use a yadstick and upside down paint on my farwood!

 

Being a near professional, at least in my mind I use a LOGGING crayon.
