    Shawn Jordan is a co-worker and friend I've know for years, a good Christian man, husband, father and soon to-be grandfather. He had gone to check on his mom and was in a wreck as he was leaving her house Saturday...
    From his daughter, Darien...

    My mom asked me to post an update:

    Daddy was in a bad car accident yesterday and was flown to Navicent in Macon and then flown to Grady in Atlanta. He has multiple displaced left sided rib fractures, a hemopneumothorax, a broken clavicle and scapula, and fractures of C5, C6, C7, T1, and T2.

    He’s on high flow oxygen right now. Please pray that he is able to stay on that. The next step would be intubation and being placed on a ventilator until he is able to breathe well on his own.

    The plan for tomorrow is surgery to fix the ribs on the left side to hopefully help with breathing. They say it should also help with pain. It’s possible that they will also place another chest tube if needed. We don’t know a time yet but will update when we do.

    He keeps telling us that he loves us and that God is good. Thank you for all the prayers. We definitely feel them. ♥️

    Coworker of mine named Drew, passed into eternity this morning, suddenly. Was sitting at his computer when he collapsed. Medics came a worked very hard to save him, but DOA at hospital 30min later.
    48 y.o. , wife, 1 son (adult). Quite sudden.

    Had a CT scan yesterday and a call from urologist saying I have a large tumor in my bladder.

    Update on Shawn Jordan from above (coworker who was in the bad wreck)
    They still haven't been able to do any surgeries on him, his lungs were too weak, he has been on ventilator for about a week. He finally got off ventilator yesterday, just have to see how strong his lungs are now. Still in hospital in Atlanta
