Afternoon all. busy morning. Cold, partially cloudy so some sunshine peaking through. Went out for breakfast and then took everything up to the church this morning. Rain on frozen roads predicted for tomorrow so I don't know if we will make it to church.
Got back home and went out for lunch after picking up the mail.
Came home and cleaned bathrooms and kitchen floor while campinspecter did the vacuuming. Time for some fun.
I am heading down to the sewing room - finally.

Good morning everyone! Snow totaling 7-8 inches starting tonight through tomorrow. Bring it on!

 

Good morning, members.

Winter continues with snow falling early this evening, 17⁰/29⁰ mostly overcast.

We're to get several hours of snow before changing to sleet/freezing rain for another several hours. We could get up to 5 inches of snow, with 1/4inch of ice on top. Possible power outages.

I'll be doing a bit of storm prep today. I'll bring a few pieces of black locust up to the house, I'll fill a 6gal water jug just in case power goes out. Maybe, a quick grocery store run.

USA/Canada hockey game tonight. The US national anthem has been booked a few times in Canada. These same 2 teams play in Boston next week. I sure hope the Canadian anthem is respected.

Hi Jeff. Really hope we get to see you in June. We had to inches of snow this morning. Ready for fishing weather for sure.

After about 3in of snow, we are now getting rain which will compress accumulations. 27⁰/35⁰ At 27⁰, it'll be a freezing rain. Gradual warm-up over next few hours.

There should be a break in precipitation between 8 and 9am. I hope to begin the snow relocation process then.

Looking forward to pancakes with bacon/sausage, and cantaloupe, sometime early afternoon.

Morning all. Surprise to see a bit of clearing this morning. Yesterday was cold, wet and windy. First rain after three weeks of below freezing temps so we stayed home from church as the roads were icy. Fortunately we were able to join the service through Zoom and Livestream Facebook. Everyone pitched in to fill the gaps except for the piano playing. As I am the backup of last resort, there wasn't anyone else to play. Later on in the year, we will have more pianists and so it won't be hard to find someone.
Today, we watched some curling championship, went out for breakfast and now are headed out to clean the church. Roads should have warmed up by now as temps have been above freezing since yesterday morning.

MikeInMa hard fought game last night. We watched the end of the game. It was so close to going either way. I hope the politics stay out of the series although Canadians are rather passionately patriotic right now.

Sawdust Man I didn't get a chance to comment earlier but that is a great pic of Nebuchadnezzar with the new kids.

I know it's past morning but hello anyway. Yesterday's snow is gone but it's starting again now. Going to hide out by the fly vise for a bit.

 

I'll be very disappointed if the Canadian anthem is booed in Boston, later this week.
