I suppose I should shove a couple inches of snow off the driveway. It is a far cry from the 8-12" that was forecast.

I've been falsely accused by the rich and powerful :BrianK:

Spent two hours tonight writing a response defending myself from fault for an accident.

Been raining cats and dogs for 24hrs here. The road out of my area flooded right after I drove through going to work this morning. Can't wait to check out the property on Saturday- I bet some trees are down.

Went out and shoveled several inches of sludge yesterday. Got about 3" of snow overnight. The system that was supposed to be a fast mover, dump some snow and a bit of freezing rain on top, ended up sticking around and dumping freezing drizzle and rain all day. Meant the snow blower was useless so I didn't' even try. Dug out the gate fences and the path from the back door to one of those gates. Then went to tackle the Explorer and driveway.

I got about 1/3 of the driveway, along the front and drivers side of the truck (to the edge of the driveway, which isn't very far), and gave up. Temps are in the 20's and will stay there, with lows in the single digits and maybe barely teens for the next week, so it will all be a solid block of ice. Guess I'll be spreading sand today. Can hardly wait for the snow starting tomorrow into Sunday - and maybe into Monday (depending on who you listen too). Fun times.

He may not be able to divulge anything......or at least it may be a wiser decision to not post anything about the details in case some liability may be found?

Dealing with that "wet cement" type snow is never fun! A little bit at a time, there's no race. But it sure is better than letting it freeze solid!

Seems like winter finally showed up. We use New England weather guy, very accurate without the BS hype.

In observance of the day, I grilled T-bones and had some cooked, peeled, deveined shrimp for a surf and turf meal. Baked potato was great and I didn't even use butter on it this time; sour cream and cheddar was enough. Grilled sweet onions topped the T-bone.

Temps were in the upper teens and as soon as we were finished eating, 99 noticed it was snowing-again!

Everything is put back into storage and parking lot is shoveled.

    Let the evening begin!

I follow him too. I've found for my area, WMUR seems to be more accurate - or at least has my area hitting in the mid range instead of the high end "plus" range. Just the characteristics of the northern Monadnocks / southern Sunapee area. And neither are real confident about this storm since it all depends on how fast and how far (if at all) the warm air ingresses into the upper atmosphere.

NEWG has me at 6-8+", WMUR has me at 8-14". Both say a bunch of sleet/freezing rain toward the end. And, they both agree high winds on Monday and both have been pushing out the duration of the storm. I'm in one of the small areas that says 40-50 mph winds for both too.

I don't think I have anything to worry about. If I say so myself, I did a fine job of proving there's an issue on the other end. Nobody was actually hurt or anything, thankfully.

Long story short, a pallet collapsed and sent product everywhere while offloading. Someone wants to think I made an incompetent judgement with equipment (and I can prove the equipment physically cannot do what they claim), but I was able to provide plenty of evidence to the contrary.

But to be safe, Since you guys asked, I'll message you a more thorough description of the incident.

I hope WMUR is wrong, that bright pink circle is right over me. I’ll be making in sure all the backup stuff is GTG today.
