I’ve got 34 out, 71 in. Feeding the Englands HL chunks. It’s been a super wet couple days and more is expected today and this weekend. Mud season is going to be very sloppy if this keeps up.
We woke up to a couple inches of wet slop on the ground this morning. Warm at 34 heading to the mid 40s. Bigtooth aspen and mockernut hickory in the Lopi.
3* this morning. 65* in the house. Loaded up with hickory so it won't take long to warm things back up. My name is Mike, and I'm a hoarder.
May hit high of 50 today back to 30s tomorrow. Loaded stove with some oak before heading off to work.
11° but feels like -5° with the wind chill. Had about 6" of fluffy show that I snowblower at 11:30 last night when it stopped snowing. 73° in the house when I left to go to work this am. Ash in the quadrafire
6F/65F Our STT is cruising at 500F with a reload doing what it needs to do Polishing my snow shovel.... We might get another BIG storm Yesterday's big one barely covered our grass! Naturally every school and event was cancelled prior to the dusting...... How things have changed over the years. Hmmm.
I agree, people have gotten soft. That's where it starts. We got ~6" of snow yesterday until about 11:30 pm. Driving conditions were not great, and it seems like many people forget how to drive on snow covered roads. Well we're getting another snow storm tomorrow night and more into Saturday. Then another one early next week. Box elder, ash and cherry in the quadrafire. 12° out/ 72° in
I think we are in the same boat. I keep hearing different predictions. But I doubt we will get more than 6” at the house. I think Denver is in the 1-3” range.
Locals calling for 2-4” snow around here tomorrow and I don’t mind since that will raise the temps up. Currently -6/72 with a forecast of -9 but they are probably way off like usual.
