Hello All - I’m looking for ideas and opinions for shipping and receiving saws that are listed on E-bay, Marketplace, and Craigslist. Are there shipping options that are preferred more than others. These ideas will need to protect both the buyer and the seller. Which shipper do you prefer or have the best luck with.

Wow that sounds good. Let me sign up for that. How does that work if anyone is shipping to me. Has anyone else used this

I recently received a package that was sent via Pirate Ship. Smooth, cheap and easy. First I have heard of it…

When shipping saws, the most important thing is keeping leaks and fumes contained. Huge red flag at the shipping counter…

I’ve used UPS several times and it’s been drama free. Boxed up so it can’t shift around or poke through the cardboard, wrapped in a plastic garbage bag to contain smells and last thing that goes in is a dryer sheet to further mask smells. Let the counter person know there is absolutely no gas or oil in the box.

Ive shipped a couple saws to FHCers thru USPS without issue. Bought a couple from eBay and received without incident. Don't recall shipper on those.

Depends where your shipping to and from but if it’s with the upper Midwest like parts of
Up Michigan to North Dakota ect speedy delivery is cheap but very limited on range. I shipped a saw and some extra parts from northern Minnesota to southern Wisconsin for like 14$. But this also was awhile ago.

I was told by a UPS driver that if I have something that I don't want damaged to get a sturdy box and fully pack the item in shipping paper or media. *Then, take that box and put it inside another box and pack it as well. He was just being honest. I have succesfully shipped sensitive electronics in this fashion.
