    Up entirely too early, spent a good work day cutting for the pending snow and cold next week. Rather then the clear cut, i went into the woods and hit some maples. Always cull beech saplings while in a work area.

    not bursting with firewood, but enough to get through. I have a wagon load of limbs, which stretches out the big stuff.

    nothing big on the agenda today with rain forecast but there are rounds to split until it comes

    Checked out the update on this terrible storm they want to predict. It seems to change several times per day.

    NOAA is now predicting less than an inch today and around an inch tonight.

    Accuweather is predicting 2-4" today and 1-3" tonight with a total of 3-6".

    Looking at the radar it would not surprise me if we get only a couple snow showers.

    Morning all. Light snow showers this morning. I hope it quits soon. We both are on the road today for church. It got above freezing yesterday afternoon which was nice. Sounds like we are in for this kind of weather for another week.

    Very hard to do when you have been insulted, abused or hurt, either physically or mentally but the Good News is that God gives us the strength and the power to live as these verses state.

    Light snow flurries here, ending soon 24⁰/33⁰

    Looks like 4 inches of dry snow fell overnight. It'll take me a few hours to move it out of the way, including pulling it down off the roof.

    Golf will be on this afternoon. Good for a nap. Super Bowl later.

    I was wrong. Looking at the snow from outside in daylight with a tape measure, we got about 6 inches.

    I absolutely hate "some assembly required". The directions are usually ambiguous or apply to several variations of the product.

    Morning all. Clear, cold and sunny this morning. Below freezing at night and just above during the day. Not used to how dry everything is getting.
    Bookkeeping this morning and putting firewood down in the basement and then a church board meeting this afternoon. Busy day. I may catch the tail end of the big game.
