That's one reason I've been hanging around here for years, almost day one. The [people hear are great and real.

After yesterday I can tell you the picture does not do it justice. Beautiful room and home plus a very interesting wood box by the stove.

Winter seems to be back here in Nebraska. Now just worried Joel is going to call me telling me how poor the wood burns and wants me to pick the crap up and dispose of it.

Yes it’s just terrible. But maybe another load just to be sure it’s really as bad as it seems :D
Stove is rolling now but hasn’t been for well over a week.
    Thanks again

I never burnt hedge, so..... if you want a second opinion on how good or crappy it is, I'll take a load. I looked on my mapping program, I'm only 19 hours - 1100 miles away from Omaha. :rofl:

Thanks for all the thumbs up, it is appreciated but majority of the members here would or have done much more for their fellow hoarders. I know Joel uses wood for back up but we all know the nice warm feeling a good stove load of wood can provide. Glad I could be a part of it and do a little "Pay it Forward" as many have done in their lives. It also helps that I have been blessed (Jim's hedge) with an abundance of premium firewood stored in my backyard.

    Carry on.

Measured out to about 9’ x 3,5’x 3’ so just under 3/4 cord. Quite the pile for a pickup. :salute:

Not bad for a Ford. Thanks for measuring it Joel. How's it burning?

Burning great! Mixing in some of the not-quite-seasoned wood I had bought. Burned a wheelbarrow or so full so far

Good to hear, I find those sticks every once in a while, so let me know if you run low again.
