I was thinking the same thing. It is supposed to hit ~45° today along the western shores of Michigan . Last night it raised temps slowly and snowed about an inch.

31° outside 68° inside, rechooched with ash, a piece of balsam fir, and more ash.

Fire went out yesterday because I got it a little too warm. HHO kicked on twice early this AM (set to 65) and it woke me. So 5am I let the dog out and started a fire, 50/50 black locust and chestnut oak. Now a comfy 73. 25 outside and a steady 5-10mph wind. Really cooled off overnight, calling for 55 tomorrow. Early shoulder season? The outlook shows a lot of see-saw temps for Feb.

That's all we've had all year is massive hot and cold swings.

Groundhog's day today. Did he see his shadow? IDK. In six weeks it'll be March 16th and more than likely not really any chance of snow that lasts more than a day or so. Unless we get a mega storm and even then it will rapidly melt.
