Still getting very light snowfall. If I had to guess, I’d say we’re in the 4-5” range right now.


74 inside, burning one piece of BL and 2 CO at a time. The view out my back door at 5p.

I found my marker log dated march of 19. Stacked and top covered for 5 years 10 months.

 

8 out now Forecast is for a low of 3 , 75 inside with some oak choochin in the box

 

As with HDRock , will be at 1 by sunrise. Another oak and maple night. we are keeping the 8f side temperature lower to ensure the boiler can keep up.

if we get through the next thirty hours or so, we will be good.

 

5, -11 wind chill, 76 inside with hickory going.

 

It's -18 right now and still dropping, low for tonight is -17 going to go well past that I'm thinking.

Same here. Was almost -20 when I checked a few hours ago and still dropping. Stupid cold. I can hear my logs popping in the cold. Hopefully I can still get some good lumber out of them.

 

Thanks. Shes been a good adventure buddy for all my outdoor hobbies. First time I took her out last spring on a firewood trip she did great. I was dragging doug fir trees out to a road in the truck and had her sit and stay a safe distance away with no problems. She also has a healthy respect and distance for the saw but didnt get uptight with the sound. Once the saw was quite she would come in close and be part of things. It was like she had already been trained to know what to do. Yeah Ive thought your scenery is similar to ours as well from the pics Ive seen you post.
