Thanks for the well wishes. My procedure went well without much discomfort. I have to watch what I eat for a few days.

Starting to warm up today and it should continue thru Friday. After that temps start to drop. We are looking at minus teens for low temps and highs of positive single digits. Once we get thru January, temps should start to slowly increase.

Good morning everyone! The plan for today has yet to be determined, but a nap is a distinct possibility.

    Good morning, members.

Bright moon lighting up the snow cover. 14⁰/32⁰ mostly sunny day. A bit of a breeze.

Mrs MikeInMa was to have cataract repair procedure this morning, but got canceled as the physician has the flue.

Seeing as how we both have an open day, maybe we'll take a ride to the Cape Cod Canal. Have lunch at one of a number of places we know of. There's been ocean-effect snow flurries recently. If'n we're lucky, we'll watch it snow at the canal. That would be a first. A few years ago, we got a chance to see ice blocks in the canal.

Looks like I'll be bringing some wood to the porch. Make sure we're stocked before the extreme cold hits. I also need to get propane tanks around to get filled. It might be a job today as my wife has gone away for a few days so I have to do all of it alone. Interesting with the shoulder still healing.

Morning all. Dark outside still. Forecast is for partially sunny day today with colder temps starting tomorrow. Just above freezing this morning.

Day four of work coming up. All I can say is elementary school is very different from high school.

    Everyone have a great day.

    Good morning, members.

Another bright moon morning. 17⁰/38⁰ slight breeze. There were snow flurries overnight.

We had an enjoyable day yesterday. I found fresh lobsters for $8.99/lb. I'm looking forward to lunch.

Nothing on the calendar for today. Grocery shopping, perhaps.

Good morning. Not so cold this morning. Looks like warm front is moving good. 13 miles south the temp is reported at 25 degrees. 20 miles north it is 16 degrees.

Morning all. Almost full moon out this morning and just above freezing. Should be a nice day out. Sprinkles of rain off and on yesterday but mostly sunny.

Last day of work this week. I am still having fun. A student gave their lungs a workout in the office yesterday with a temper tantrum. I don't miss those days when my own kids would have them.

    Everyone have a great day.

Some to be chopped for lobsters rolls, and some to be gently reheated in a warm puddle of butter.

Good evening, ya'll. Looks like everyone had a good couple days.
I guess I got in a hurry yesterday morning and forgot to post. I had set a goal of getting the hickory split and shed finished before going to dinner with friends in the early evening...mission accomplished...
I started my 7AM-7PM shift for the weekend this morning...it was 28° yesterday morning but warmed up to 58°...34°/low 60's today.
    GOD LOVES YOU AND ME
