Saw it on CL at 6 o'clock ,it was posted at 5 o'clock, there was an address in the add no phone number, was 8 mi away ,stacked next to the road , so hooked up the trailer and took off , got there saw it was pine , but it looked bone dry (and it is ) I need shoulder wood, so I filled er up, easy peasy
Good load. I'd take anything that was stacked up so conveniently. Always nice to be able to take the good stuff and leave the chaff
yep worked great to sticking and Dragging that stuff off the pile. I didn't take a picture of it but I take one Wood side off and threw it in from the side of trailer
I split 1/2 cord of pine today that was semi dry, I made the splits about 6-8 inches, I like em fatter since its lower btu wood. Those darn knots can be a pain when you split it.
yeah it wasn't splitin to good by hand so I plugged in the splitter so I could check the moisture content, was 16%
I need one of those!!! Good work. Can't have too much shoulder wood I figure.. I'll mix it in with better stuff during the day when I'm home if I have extra.
Do you mean you need a splitter? If I'm at home I don't try very hard splitting by hand, if it don't split in 3 or 4 wacks it goes on the splitter
No, the trailer! I had first dibs on all that locust. You think that car load looked silly - you can't even imagine what kind of load I would have got on that thing!
I just saw this on Craigslist http://flint.craigslist.org/hvo/4676136826.html You could hook that up to your car pick up the transmission off the ground later
Man that looks like a really good deal too. You know, Christmas is coming up... Have you got anything for the missus yet?
