I do not remember if I posted this here when I built it 3 seasons ago. This is one of the first worth while snows we have had. The frame I built of wood as a prototype with the full intention of fabricating it in steel but it has seen little use and has held up well. This year with 4-5"s I have a couple of small splits in the frame.

I do believe that is the first time I have seen a plow on a zero turn
    Nice work

Assuming it raises and lowers by deck height?

Well that's creative. Wait until people get a glimpse of that, makes me wonder if some of the Mfg. out there might consider selling a product like that.
I know Scag has some modified machines that they are using in NHRA Drag Racing , they converted what certainly looks like a ZT into track scrapers.

They do sell leave plows for them so why not a plow?

About 20 years ago I saw a ZT with a snowplow at the local Toro dealer.

Plows on zero turns is somewhat common around here, but that may be due to several of the local dealers plowing their lot with them...I'm told it actually works quite well, as long as you keep the drive tires on a somewhat clean/solid surface

Well I am obviously way behind on the times. +1 for the plastic blade. Light and no snow sticking.

I see used plow blades for ATVs on MP all the time pretty cheap, I think it would be easy to adapt one of those to work on a ZT...of course with the wuss winters we get in NE OH these days, just about any used snow blade is cheap!

I've seen crews use plows on ZTRs for sidewalks, etc. Probably works great for flat ground. Probably sucks for any sort of side hill angle.

It's a thing. If you think about it, these things have 20+ HP and stout frames.

I did try to start my zt to move it last week and during this cold it just wouldn't crank. Relatively full charge just too cold.
