I spoke with some ice fisherman after Mass on Sunday morning about the thickness of ice. Unbelievably, they reported 9"-10"

But.....we all know the reputation fishermen have about accurate measurements.....

Not doing anything outside (weather-wise) except making ice.

Below freezing temps are the norm once again beginning tomorrow. Along with snowfall everyday beginning tomorrow.

For the sake of your families well being, I sure hope there aren't any live coals in the ash pile on the floor.................and "c'mon man!" Grab an armful of wood for the basement on every trip you make outside/inside, please!

    46. Mud everywhere and more rain coming.

There's a little bit of everything in the boiler. Redbud, white oak, box elder, and walnut.

35 started a fire with Red Oak and Ash
If it doesn’t rain again, I’ll end the year making firewood and begin the new year delivering firewood. :woodsign:

Rain (0.90" at 10:00) yesterday and showing 0.02" since midnight. Was 33f at 6:00 AM when I took trash out so no ice or snow on vehicles. Now I see we are at 28 so could be starting to form. Elm in the stove for the day.
