Darn, our Lila barn (garage) cat has lost more weight. Since I found her 2014 she's snubbed every single human food and canned cat and dog food. Lunch meat, tuna, sardines, salami, seafood, all of it. WWW offered her some deli turkey tonight and she ate it  , thank goodness! I'm wondering if she has tooth problems? She's not eaten peices/crumbles of dry kibble we feed her since I found her but it seems now her whole bowl is full of crumbles like she's not getting anying in her tummy. Hopefully our vet can see her Thurs or Fri.

We had a cat that all of a sudden wouldn't eat anything. We took her to the vet. Xray showed she only had one kidney and it had a large growth on it.

He’s humble and seems to not prefer a phone/camera in his face. The most affectionate pet I’ve ever owned. They are great companions. Having wanted a Dobie for years, I’m so glad the opportunity came. My wife says we’ll never be without one now.

I've always loved when Dobie's don't have their ears cropped - I think they have more/better facial expressions that way (and that doesn't include what I think of the whole cropping of ears thing anyway).

I left early Monday Morning to visit family for the holidays and got back home 2am Saturday. My pet sitter only ever saw or heard Ziva (the cockatiel). Of course she could tell the cats were fine because food was disappearing and litter boxes needed cleaned.

With the cat cams in the basement, I could observe Lila while I was away. She took hours to come out for food at first (as she did when I first took her in). Then by Thursday night she was eating within 15 minutes after the pet sitter left. She also only came up the stairs at night the first 2 nights, then she quit doing that, although she would sit at the bottom of the stairs looking up.

I was home for less than couple of minutes and Spot was rubbing all over me as I was unpacking. Rainey took less than 10 minutes, although she was a bit spooky trying to make sure it was me and not an imposter. Then Lila made herself known by meowing in the basement shortly after.

I was afraid that my 5 days away would be a big setback for Lila and my relationship building, but that does not seem to be the case. Even at breakfast time (3:30am) on Saturday, she showed herself and came within a few feet. She waited at the top of the stops as I fixed their dinners last night, and then overnight she let me know she was up there several times as she would call out to me for a couple of minutes each time (not a big deal, I don't sleep continuously most nights anyway).

Lila wants so much to be my friend, and be part of the household. We will get there eventually :)

They're back from the vet, no pinpoint diagnosis. Blood work not bad but not telling. Antibiotics and a few days of prescription food. Mouth and teeth look good. WWW said she was a differen't cat at the vet, she let them handle/examine her and she stuck tight to him.

Oh No! Lila cat is SO sick! Only possiblity it could be is the Rabies shot she got this morning at the vet. WWW made a 60mi round trip for her vet appt this morning. Then 100mi round trip to pick up kiddo. Literally walked in the door 15 minutes ago. Back in the truck back to the vet. I don't know if she can come back from this, she looks like she's dying.
