For me, barn boards or something more weathered would have been better.

Agreed, I would have liked to make cedar shingles for it.... I think that'd looked very good.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SUPER SATURDAY. 52°\65° foggy.
I do have to work today, kept my coworker in the hospital to run more tests, more OT, sure hope they can figure out what's going on with him.
We moved some totes of chunks to another area for long term storage, stacked some empty totes that had been scattered around, then hauled a load of logs from a friend's place.
We still have several more loads to get from there... 20241227_162513.jpg

    Good morning, members.

Overcast day with morning showers. 35⁰/43⁰ Rain and warmer temps will shrink the snow cover. Warmer temps over next few days. Good opportunity to open a couple of windows and change out the house air.

I hope to get a walk in before it rains.

    Football and hockey later.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Good morning everyone! I staged some shorts and uglies yesterday to burn during the approaching wet heat wave.

    46/58 fog & weather.

Returing from the dairy, then family time today.

    Have a blessed day everybody!

There was a large seed/nut in the concrete we poured a few weeks back at my sister's place....it germinated...now there's a 3" hole in the middle of the kitchen floor.

Board and batten siding would have looked great as well. With time it would have weathered out nicely.

Afternoon all. Decent looking day out there this morning which, no surprise, turned into a rainy afternoon.
We stayed home from church as we didn't want to spread any Covid germs we might be carrying. We are feeling fine, just not taking any chances with others health.
Got to join our congregation via Zoom. It still comes in handy for things like this.

The Wise men from the east had been studying the Hebrew Scriptures and when they saw the strange star in the west, they went back and searched more. Learned men who listened to the Holy Spirit and had been looking for the promised Messiah. They started their journey to find him and arrived in Bethlehem looking for the King of Kings. Finding a baby in lowly circumstances, they recognized his worth and knelt down to worship him and offer their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

What gifts shall we bring the King of Kings? Our hearts, our wealth, our talents and our love. Serving one out of love who has created us, redeemed us and saved us from our sins. Oh glorious Saviour, our King of Kings.

They saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Matthew 2:11

    Happy Sabbath, everyone.
