I will let you knw how it tastes. We had a very different last two days with a real blessing. A friend had a heart valve replaced Monday night in a city about 6 hours steady driving from here. He has no family and his car was in a community that we normally go and shop in about 2 hours from here. Upshot was that he need to get home and there isn't consistent commercial transportation to our area.

So before we had a chance to try out the chicken dinner, we hopped in the car Tuesday afternoon and made it to our daughter's place in the city he was in. We spent Christmas morning with the family - a real bonus - and then picked him up just after lunch and headed home. Picked up his car and delivered both of them to his place and then got home. His cat will be happy to see him as he didn't expect this to happen when he headed down island for a dr. appt on Dec. 17.

Another 7PM-7AM night done, hope to deliver a tote of 1/2 oak/hickory to a coworker. He wants 14" for his solo stove and hickory to smoke with.
1 more night to work, then off for the weekend.

Morning all. Dark and rainy out there today. Slept in after all the driving we did yesterday.
Still have a couple of presents to wrap and then I am taking the rest of the day off.
I didn't drink enough water yesterday so I have a headache this morning.

Off today, got a call to deliver another tote of 14" oak, then we'll decide what's next. Might haul some logs or cut up a pecan tree at a friend's house.
Coworker is sick again with BP problems, so I may have to work tomorrow, plan had been to cut tree then.

Pretty much finished the shed yesterday, the man is still "designing" a door system so that'll get done another time.

Morning all. Grey and overcast with the (surprise) threat of rain today. Yesterday turned out to be a lot nicer than expected. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling well so didn't get out to enjoy it.
Chores today. I have a lot of cleaning up as I have just left things where they lay over the last week. We are self isolating right now as we were exposed to Covid so no visiting Mom for a couple more days.

Sawdust Man the shed looks great.
Backwoods Savage surprise visits are the greatest. visiting our grandchildren Christmas morning was a great surprise for us and them.

Yes, that's the look he was wanting, so I guess we nailed it....lol.
I think it looks decent, but I kinda didn't like putting the old used metal on a brand new building.......just goes a bit against my OCD, or whatever.
