I just put this flag out. It only flies for 3 days. I got it out before flurries start.

I'll get another pic when it's lit at night.

IMG_9323.jpeg We have our stockings up and the fireplace prepped for tomorrow morning. The first load includes a piece of last year’s Christmas tree. It has become our tradition to cut it up and enjoy burning it on Christmas.

It'll be dessert tomorrow. I'll be bringing Mom to the house for a ham dinner with the two of us.

Cannot like the "dogs pulled tree down the other night.." part.

But do you live in a fort? Or a castle? Those walls!!! Are all your walls stone? Have you ever posted about your house? If so would like to read...or see more pics. I love that stone!

Lol. Far from a castle. Its a 1840 farmhouse. Walls are about 2 foot thick. Someone took the slanted roof off the kitchen and added a bedroom and full bath. Those walls aren't stone. Then someone else added a bedroom to the end of the house. They should have went to the front and added on there and redid the porch. When we bought it at the end of 2017, it was half a mess. Its been a work in progress and very challenging at times. My wife's family had a fit (still do) It's smaller then out old house. I've done work in about every room. Getting ready to redo our bedroom at some point. I'll find more pics and show you. 20240121_102922.jpg
