Working in the shop this morning, planning to take the family out to get a Christmas & go see some lights this afternoon/evening.
Went and helped the boys place the mud yesterday, then after 30 minutes I left em to finish it.

A wintry-ish day ahead. 27⁰/36⁰ flurries later today and into tonight. 1-3inches is snow possible. I'm looking forward to it.

I will top off the deck wood rack. There'll be some black locust brought to the house. There's a cold snap coming with overnight lows nearing single digits.

I have container of homemade soup thawing out. Soup weather is coming.

Then I'll need to run a few errands.

Yesterday we all went out to get a Christmas tree, then went to a nice park with lots of lights, and a little up bridge.

Morning all. Was it ever windy yesterday and pouring with rain at times. Too dark outside to see but I think the wind has died down and right now there is no rain.
Going to get my new glasses today and now I will be able to see you better. I discovered while on my trip, that my eyesight had gone down hill so the first thing I did getting back was have my eyes checked.

Enjoyed my day off yesterday, with quality time spent with friends last night.
Started my 7AM-7PM shift for the weekend this morning, things are pretty smooth at work.
Need to bring a gew buckets of chunks down to the house this evening, then get ready to do it over again tomorrow.

Good morning everyone! It looks like we are in for a couple windy and cold days with a little snow. I'll take it. Another warm up after that.

Winter is here. 23⁰/30⁰ We got a couple, maybe three inches of snow yesterday. Overcast day. Low teens overnight tonight.

I am actually looking forward to going outside and push snow off the driveway.

I'll then go do some grocery shopping.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a SUPER SATURDAY. 33°\53° sunny. Another 7AM-7PM day of cooking dirt.
Brought in a few buckets of oak chunks last night and a small bucket of splitter kindling. Watched some of the ND/IN game, then it watched me......woke up about 3AM, got the stove going again...

Morning all. Dark and windy outside today. And warm 9C /48F
Yesterday's trip went well. 5 hours driving for a 10 min appt. I can see things clearer now. I was surprised that night driving is better. I guess the coating was gone on the old glasses and I was getting halos around everything.

It was frightening. They had never seen anything like this. Out of the dark, a glorious being appeared - an angel. His message was short but had a lot of meaning. They had been talking about the coming Messiah and now here the angel said the Christ had been born and was lying in a manger nearby in the city of David. Barely had they grasped this news when the whole sky opened up with glorious shining angels everywhere singing, Glory to God in the highest. What a sight!!! What singing!!! Then it all disappeared. Once they could see again, they decided to go and see the baby. Mary and Joseph had visitors that night that knelt down and worship their newborn son. Afterward, the shepherds went and told everyone what they had experienced.

When you receive Jesus into your heart, don't you want to tell everyone the good news? As the shepherds probably found, not everyone was as excited as they were but they probably didn't stop talking about it. What experience to keep for the rest of your life.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:

“Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” Luke 2: 13, 14

It was nice and quiet out there this morning. Fishing was so good I was done by 10.
