I'm almost ashamed to be posting on here Just a couple of overnight fires to keep the chill off.

Got up to around 40f with .15" ice/rain. Should only get down to 30f tonight. Was able to stage 3 totes outside the garage of locust, white oak, ash, and elm that should keep us toasty for most of the winter, maybe.

Barely got any snow or cold weather so far. I burned shoulder wood all last winter and don’t have any now. I’m burning primo Doug Fir. The beer hiding behind the woodpile won’t freeze anytime soon. It’s a safe place to keep it cause the wife and kids dam sure won’t find it there. Oh yeah I got the 3120 back from the saw whisperer guy. We thought the coil was done but it turned out to be a dirty contact. It cuts something fierce. First time we ever tried it.

29/69 - small reload this morning of catalpa. Got a sizable quantity of catalpa rounds from a neighbor two years ago. Was apprehensive about getting it at first but it splits easily, dries fairly fast and is throwing off decent heat.

19-70 and oak is doing it's job.
Kind of the first real cold snap we have had, and I am ready for spring already.

I'm not ready for spring, but I am sick of switching between winter and fall about every 3 days. Bring on winter for a couple months.

Sitting around 25. Tossed some smaller splits of BL on overnight coals and away we go. Downstairs is a cool 65. It should warm up in no time.
