21/70 and not getting above freezing today. I’m burning sassafras, aspen and cherry right now but will probably reload with oak later.

Do you put the cherry on top?

25/71. CO. Nice to have the ground freeze after the rain we got right before the temp drop. Always hoping for a mild mud season.
Calling for almost 60 early next week. :tears:

Just stuffed a load of old arse Elm in the wood eater. The STT and Cat temp gauge's went nuclear quickly. Got er dialed back to black box mode and purring along.
Elm may be a beast to split comparatively but give those splits 3-4 years of seasoning and look out:) Success is mine!

As we speak the temp is 20*, I don't know how cold it got overnight cause I slept in. I've got into a vein of Boxelder in my stack that I tapped into, so I am burning that mixed with an Oak split here and there.

Came home from work at noon today and built a fire, then worked from home for the afternoon. Started with ash and cherry, have transitioned to sugar maple. I've throttled down the damper and the sugar maple lasts a good long time before needing to be replenished. It's 16 outside and a very cozy 70 inside. I wish you all a good night and a good weekend.
