Oddly, all the snow didn’t wash away in VT yesterday. Seems that the temps hung around in the low 30’s. I think there was some inversion going on as the temps up in the Southern Green Mountains were in the 40’s.
It's a 2015 Indy 550 Voyageur long track (155). I wanted it more as a utility sled for hauling firewood than as a trail runner. It pulls great and I've had a lot of fun with it. The Otter sled in the pics is now up on skis so less drag and the snowmobile club doesn't throw a fit if I'm hauling firewood on their groomed trails. Definitely miss the old winters as well.
My brother said it jumped 10+ degrees yesterday over on the coast of Maine. Our temps stayed in the low 30’s. The forecast was for 50’s so I hadn’t cleared all the snow. Looks like I’ll need to scrape the parking areas.
Quite the variable storm! And temps really dropped today and into this evening. It’s like winter took a very brief vacation.
Went south today those mountains are only couple hundred feet high few miles away.. valley green hills were white
Same here, we lost most of our snow but kept 2 or 3 inches and then got the wrap around flurries that made everything white again. It flurrried all day today.
No snow left, not that we had much. Puddles from yesterday's rains are now freezing. Black ice is about.
A tent platform behind our camp that best I can tell is 10+- miles from Skier76 place. Someone else took that this weekend. I’ll be there this coming weekend.
