Checking on the Woodlot

    Heard some noise up on the ridge behind the house so popped a drone in the air to check things out.
    The power company was doing some prep work prior to rebuilding one of the power lines up there.
    The road had become quite brushed over so I was happy to see they cleared it out.

    While in the drone was in the air I tools some shots of the woodlots from above and also some of the surrounding area on a nice Fall day.

    I’ve been on a hiatus from cutting wood but the power company is supposed to drop some trees along the right of way so the vacation might be ending soon.

    Nice drone shots. Lots of beetle killed spruce/fir out there I see? Very sad.

    I have a Phantom 4, have’nt had it up in a couple of years though.
