Any chance that you have a link to the lights that you use? I have cordless rechargeable lights that do not work worth a crap now. TIA

I make it a point to avoid school kids—germ factories. Doesn't take much to make me sick and end up in the hospital. I wonder why they take kids into nursing homes to cheer up the residents. It doesn't take long after that to have open beds available.

Oh, they know what they're doing. Whether consciously or subconsciously, someone makes the decision to bring those germ factories in.

    Well-the culprit has been identified!

    It's the microwave.

Our old one took a crap last month. I had another gifted to me for when I had the man cave in the garage at the old place. I did keep it in case the original owner wanted it back. (nope) Worked out well because when the new place microwave took a crap, I just grabbed the gifted one from storage.

Only thing is, this microwave does not have the insanely loud beep that announces to anyone in the house that it is done warming stuff up. Nope, just a very quiet whisper of a beep. And.....if you do not "re-set" the function of it, I mean, if you just grab the food and close the door, it will faintly beep about every minute or so reminding you that it hasn't completed it's task.

    Whew!

lukem and eatonpcat idk what ones you used, but try to get ones with cree LEDs if possible. They are much better than most other brands and last longer than others. Granted, now that LEDs have been out a while, there's probably more brands that are guys, but there's still probably ones that are lesser quality.

    Right!

I tried to find how to access the menu so I could adjust the volume of the beep alerts, but....

I'll wait until there is a teenager around to figure it out for me!

Nice picture of Bay de Verde taken by Eugene Howell. A very unique community, that I would not want to have to commute in and out of in the winter time.

Caffeine! Suppose to be windy most of the day. I’ll have to find a project or two to do inside the barn or the garage. And get some exercise in this morning. You hoarders have a good day, stay safe, and have some kind of fun.

63ºF yesterday, some 50+ MPH winds, 3 inches of rain
37ºF this morning, no wind, sun's not up yet but looks like it might be a sunny day.

Spent some time under the truck this morning replacing 02 sensors. Got 3 of 4 done...the 4th isn't being extremely stubborn.

Noticed I have a pretty bad transmission pan gasket leak too. I'll top it off with fluid and tackle that job when I have more patience.

As usual, very odd weather now. We got 2-3 inches of rain. Gusty winds, 50-60 mph. and temps that got to the mid 50's. All the snow is gone for now. Thankfully the river isn't flooding. Now back to cold. My stove finally got fixed , $850 Mice had done a job on the wires. stove is $4000 so it is worth it.

Why are these so popular? I bought 2 similar large canisters several years ago for flour and sugar, but smaller things I just roll down the top and put a rubber band on it to keep it rolled/shut. The other two here don't bother, just put a couple twists on the package and put in pantry then untwist pretty quick lol, never a complaint. Can't say I like a lot of what they eat so I can't tell if it's stale. Is it because humidity makes stuff stale and I only know dry places? Like I said, I only know dryish/dry climates, but didn't all our mother's and before them use ceramic canisters that were not air tight? Do any of you're wives use this? It could be organizing and aesthetics?
