The spruce and pine splits up front, probably close to 18 months. The stuff in the tote,? Who knows maybe 3 years…?

I’m partial to the rich color blend. It says this is not your typical milquetoast mass produced 7 11 bundle.

    Thanks folks. :handshake:

Passed one of my other stations en route and noticed he was low. I didn't realize owner had texted earlier asking for a refill...75 bundles. Got a text today from one of the local stations asking for more. Over 100 more bundles need assembling soon. I did some while it rained this afternoon. An extra piece of metal slid onto the back roof edge gave me a little extra protection. Assembling bundles not one of my favorite wood selling tasks why I do a little at a time.:picard: Tis the season though! :coldfire:

Yep, those totes make deliveries a lot easier.
Especially when you can make multiple deliveries on 1 trip...
Made 3 stops with this load...1 lady got 2 totes 1000015490.jpg
    Another 2 load trip... 1000015500.jpg

Do you have them put down a deposit for the use of them ? Then go pick them up when they are empty?

Not loaded . But I measured and bucked and offloaded the wood that was on the trailer . Then started building the stake sides.
They come up 18" above the trailer deck. . Got them about half done. Need to build the front and a slide in tail gate . Also need to weld on 11 stake pockets. Less than 5 hours of daylight really cuts into the work day

We normally just unload the tote and bring it back. A couple places have a couple. We don't normally have a way to unload away from home.

You need one of those fancy electric wrappers. Eastonmade is selling one. :makeitrain"
I haven’t done any bundles this year. I dislike making them more than I dislike stacking. Even stuffing bags bothers me with the time it takes. I looked at the cost of some bagging frames and just wasn’t feeling it.

Ive thought of using the mesh bags but I'm too fussy about size/shape of them.

I've thought of the electric wrappers but my set up not ideal for one. Ill end up doing 10-11 cords worth of bundles for 2024. Just under 2000 bundles.
