I don't have one and probably won't. No rice pot either. Was gifted a nice deep fryer last Christmas. Counter top toaster takes care of toasting things. I figure I'll get a convection unit next time the stove craps out and will be part of the club.

Well, we caved in and picked one up since our old toaster oven had a hard life. A little large but actually not too bad. Plugged it in last night and burned off the new-ness and used it twice this morning for toast for sandwiches and a couple bagels. A LOT faster than our old one. No air fry yet.

Chicken thighs nicely seasoned on our Hamilto Beach XL convection/air fryer/toaster oven thingy are to die for. Had em last night. Good fun.

Did a test run the other night and the end product was great.
Air/convection baked some chicken then some sliced zucchini dipped in a little egg wash and crumbs, quick shot of cooking spray and air fried. These were excellent, crispy and super easy

How was the cleanup after the egg wash? I haven't tried anything like that yet.

Just to add another 2 cents. I dry my chicken thighs with paper towels. Fully coat them in olive oil. Then apply all the seasoning. Works great.

I have one of the round Ninja air fryers. Haven't used it much in the last couple years but did use it quite a bit when I first got it (back in 21) for fries, hash browns, etc. and reheating everything from fish and chicken to pizza. Wish I had the countertop room for one like yours. Need to dig mine out and start using it again (my slow cooker is where the air fryer would go...I just started leaving the slow cooker out since I use that a lot more).

I need to remember this next for year as I usually get an overabundance of zucchini from my garden and this sounds great. How long did you cook them for?

Not long , maybe 7-10 roughly at 375 , crispy outside and soft inside but not overcooked.
Going to try some Brussel Sprouts tonight with a little oil and S&P

So far it has worked well for us , basically a toaster oven with some options.

How do you choose between air fry and bake? And which are the zucchini?

There's a selection dial for bake and air fry, as well as toast.

Zucchini are the green summer squash, but available year round
