Your work schedule mirrors your wood hoarding habits exactly. Either you're at a dead stop or going 150mph :) :salute:

Slow start to the month. Snow flurries brought in a few orders today. Bagged 51 sales last month despite being away for 11 delivery days. A lot of four face cord delivery days which take about nine hours door to door to complete.

Delivered a 330 gal tote to our restaurant customer. They had just emptied the rack cooking 6 hams for BBQ... 20241206_081239.jpg
It takes at least 4 or 5 hand truck loads like this to empty tote... 20241206_082240.jpg
Completely filled the rack with a little left over...and got a lil tip... 20241206_085646.jpg

Our local community is having a Christmas light celebration tonight, people decorate their houses, and tree is decorated at the community club house and there will be 5 firepits for roasting marshmallows. We donated a tote of hickory chunks and one of white oak chunks, and split an old cherry stump... 20241207_151727.jpg
He will bring back the leftovers

Sadly, I have to go in to work this evening, so I'll miss the festivities.
This was last year, 1st time we had it.

Well, technically the guy that will have the firepits in his yard gave the Rick's a ride...:thumbs:...

We also carried a Rick to my cousin done the road after church today. He had a big post driver fall on his foot, broke his big toe and it's infected. He needed some dry wood...I've learned GOD will more than replace what you give of yourself

Had plans to cut wood Friday morning after work. Before I had made my coffee, a lady that got a tote Nov 30th texted, wanting another tote, she had burned about half. Then a guy that got a tote Nov 26th, wanted another tote, family member had been raiding his pile and wanted to buy him a load...then another text came in, family that got a tote Dec 1st was about out, could we bring them a tote...
    Plans changed and we delivered...
14" splits on truck, with a tote of 14" & 18" splits on trailer. 3 loads done by lunchtime, ready for a nap when we got back home...put Ol'Faithful to work that day. 20241213_093952.jpg

They had about 1 1/2 totes left, so we had those delivered to a neighbor down the street from where the firepits were.
