Chainsaw Pics...

So far I like the chain once I took some off the rakers.

 

I may try it out Saturday if the wind dies down by then. I gotta quit buying crap but that Chinese 25" i have was just too heavy for me.

 

I just bought a 3 pack of 3/8lp chains for 18" bar. I shouldn't need another bar the rest of my life. In fact I just gave a new Sugihara, 16" small stihl mount bar to a buddy I bought and never used.

 

I don't "need" any saw related stuff for the rest of my life except bar oil, but you know how that goes.

 

Oh yes, yes I do. In fact I'm soon adding another saw that is already on the sausage stuffing list for performance work. Lol

Ya know, looking at the pic I guess it is. I was in a hurry when I put it on and didn't pay much attention because it was cold and windy and I was ready to go back in. When I ordered it just said full chisel, didn't say anything about skip. Didn't say skip on the package either. Should I question the dukes about it or just use it?

 

They list skip as an option in the drop down menu. Is it possible you clicked the wrong one?

Maybe the skip will help the old stihl so it can hang with a wild thing.

 

Could be an error on their part. I'm curious how it would cut on the same saw vs. a full comp chain.

I only run full skip on the 36" bar the rare occasion I use it. I think I might have a loop of 28" too.
