42 feels like a heat wave after the past week.
45 for the high before crashing back into the 20’s again.
    Still burning oak.

16 outside. Super windy last night. Low of 7 tonight.

Haven't ventured out to the boiler yet but I suspect it is still working on some ash from last night.

The 24+ mph winds are here today, and the temp is starting to fall. It's not going to be too cold, lows in the 20's the next couple days but the winds give it that mid-winter feel.
Burning what 90% of my stacks are, oak in almost every form. Although I believe I remember adding some mulberry to the stack I just started. All 3+ years seasoned.

Last night and tonight it will be dropping a degree an hour to low teens. Picked up a Mule bed load of splits in my clear cut area. Whatever it is, it will be stuffed tight into th3 dragon s9 I don’t have to roll out too early.

a man posted in the neighborhood Facebook group that his daughter was looking for work. They scheduled to come by this evening, but he forgot about it. It will give me time to cut a lot of rounds before my interview. Glad the dad is choosing due diligence. Kinsey and Richelle’s mom has agreed to be a reference.

pin the meantime I plan to keep the house cozy through my solitary labors. Everyone keep warm and safe. Santa doesn’t bring prosthetics

Started out at 10f this morning with a high of 24f. Spent most of the day dealing with outside cameras at a Menards. Yes, I've had enough of winter after today.

Supposed to be in the 30’s over the weekend. Hopefully we can get a few more things done before the real snow gets here and the temps stay cold.

-10c/14f right now. Its the same tonight as it has been for the last few. I just loaded my overnight burn of larch and birch. Weve had an inversion the last little bit. All the trees have a pretty frost on them. I think its time to check out the lakes for ice fishing.

Ash did well overnight. 1/2 a load of Pine taking over this morning. I’ll be around to reload often.
