Morning all. Up early to watch curling from Newfoundland. Our favourite team didn't make the playoffs but some really good curling happening.
Partial cloudy with I think rain the forecast. Didn't get the sidewalk cleaned but I did get a new toy for next week. Purchased an electric power washer - one that I can start by myself. Can't wait to try it out.
Laundry, cooking and vacuuming is on the agenda for today. campinspecter is still crippled up so I think he will watch curling and football today.

Working in the shop & eating leftovers today....my daughter made a gang of pies and we're enjoying em immensely!

Morning all. Rain finally happened. It was nice to have a few dry days. Got a lot done yesterday so I feel so of prepared for today. campinspecter is doing a bit better so we will see how today goes.

Jesus promised in John 14: 1 – 4 that he would return and receive all those who believed in him. The promise of his second coming is all through the Bible. Not a quiet secret event but one that will fill the skies with angels, with a loud trumpet blast and Jesus returning as a King in his glory. Lightning flashes and thunder rolls and the dead who believe in Jesus will rise from their graves to meet with those who believe and are alive. In the twinkling of an eye, all are changed into new perfect and immortal bodies and rise to meet Jesus in the air. What a wonderful, glorious day that will be!

Take time today to surrender your heart to Jesus and be ready when he comes for you on that day.

Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. Revelation 1:7

Look like cold temps are here for a while. 23⁰/38⁰ Snow is in the forecast, later this week.

After 2 weeks, my SIL and husband are heading back to NC today. It's been nice spending some extended time with them.

I'll be bringing wood to the deck.

I suspect Christmas will start to be brought up from the basement today.

Boston football, hockey, and basketball all on later. I suspect a nap will overtake me.

Afternoon all. Busy day today. Started with Women's final in curling, fired the boiler, did three loads of laundry, went out for lunch, watch a bit of football (Seahawks won), then watched Men's final curling and now bookkeeping until the Sunday night football game. I am not watching the Eagles/Raven game although I can hear it playing in the living room.
campinspecter is doing better with the back. Still sore but he isn't taking as many painkillers and not using the wheel chair to get around.
